[color=#0000FF]Why are you working so hard at the moment? You want money for your car or for your house. What do these aspirations mean? They build up your personal wealth. You should not just work to built wealth. There are more important things. Think about building a home, which means a place you feel comfortable.
What is a home? Is it a house, country, hometown or something else? Some people have no house at all, they rent flat and live with their family and enjoy a happy life; some people have a large houses but there is no one live with them, they are not happy at all, they feel lonely. Probably, home is where you feel happy. However, some people have no certain place to live at all, they drive a car to travel all over the world, and look at the beautiful world. They are happy, but at the same time they want to go back to where they were born, maybe it is a small town. They think that their hearts are still there. In Chinese, there is only one word means home or house, but in English there are two words to tell the different between home and house. I prefer the English way better, because we do need to know that house is not the home. These are two complete different conceptions. A house is only a place, it is a place that you can stay, and you can sleep. Home is a place you feel comfortable, where your heart settles. In my opinion, home is where the heart is, maybe it is your country, maybe it is you hometown, maybe it is your house, and maybe it goes with you every where.
I went to another city to study when I was 15 year-old, I didn’t know what home was at that moment, I enjoyed my life in my boarding school, I thought that the school was my home. Later, I noticed that I still missed my family, missed my parents, and missed the city where I had spent my childhood. After my senior school, I came to Australia to continue my study, I was very lost, because I didn’t know where my home was, my home stay family, my city or my family? I do feel happy here, but I am still confused that whether it is my home. Time has flown, I finally understand that I am missing my city, my family, my heart belongs there, that’s my home, and for me home is where the heart is.

I was once talking to a famous journalist Mr. Shui who is working in CCTV. My question was:” you always go to other cities or countries to work, and have only a little bit time to stay in your house, don’t you think that your home is everywhere and it goes with you?” He told me:” home is what you are missing, where you want to be。Home is too hard to move, it is so heavy that you can’t take it with you. The best idea is put your heart there, which makes everything easier. Even if I always go outside by myself, my heart still at home, I won’t feel lonely, because my heart always together with my family.” Yes, for the people whose work needs them to move all the time, it is hardly for them to settle in a home everywhere. It will hurt them deeply when they are thrown out of the home that they have built.

In the story called Going Home, Billy is a black man had a good life in the city, once he goes back home, he notices that all he has done can’t change the colour of his skin or the prejudice against black men. He is lost and confused, he wants to know that there does he belong to. He doesn’t know where he can put his heart, so there is no home for him. In the film Dead Letter Office, tow of the main characters were both thinking about what a home is, at last they worked out that “home is where the heart feels comfortable”, They were together at the end of the movie, and tells us they have got a place for them to put their hearts and make their hearts feel comfortable, that is their home.

As I mentioned above, you should believe that home is where the heart is. In the depth of your heart, there must be a place that you are missing; you want to go or you are looking for. That is where your heart is, where your true home is.
